tbh this article being so open ended smacks of great replacement nonsense (also declining birthrates aren’t necessarily bad imo, like if it IS being caused by people avoiding having children due to poverty that’s a bad thing, but birthrates have been dropping for ages and more and more people choose not to have kids for personal reasons other than economic ones, or to adopt because it’s becoming socially acceptable, etc)
